Southern Highlands Reserve: Azalea Walk

Hundreds of native azaleas are planted in clusters to define a sequence of “rooms” along the Azalea Walk. Most of these are “Gregory Bald” hybrid azaleas, which have been propagated from those found on a high grassy bald in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
